Scout and Cadet groups in Cornwall

For Scout Groups & Cadets Adventurous Activities are an integral part of developing key Life Skills and we have a range of activities that will do just that. 

We share all the values of the Scouts and believe very much in 'learning by doing'.

Director and owners of Vertical Descents, Ben and Sam Starkie, were themselves keen Scouts and Cadets in the Lake district during there childhood. We use their collective experience when giving Scout and Cadet groups a great day out.  

On top of that, our broad range of experience with military groups allows us to give cadets the kind of inspiring adventure activities they need.

Our adventurous activities develop the following (in line with the Scouting ethos):

We have held our Adventurous Activities Licence (AAL) (HSE) since 2007.
